Montreal, October 23, 2007 – ProDrive Systems Ltd. announced today that Mark Powell has joined the ProDrive Advisory Board and will provide strategic guidance to the ProDrive Board of Directors and management team. Jean Castonguay, President and CEO, ProDrive Systems Inc. said, "The strategic guidance that Mark will provide to ProDrive will be invaluable. With Mark as a member of the Advisory Board, we have added a new dimension in sales and strategy to our management team. With access to his talents and skills, ProDrive will forge even more strategic alliances with new industry partners, and open new and exciting sales channels. With Mark's help, I'm confident we will sooner meet company business and investment objectives." On joining the ProDrive Advisory Board, Mark Powell said, "What drew me to ProDrive was the dynamic management team, and a unique patented product that filled a necessary technology gap so perfectly. Currently all handpieces [dental 'drills'] suffer torque loss because the bur [dental drill 'bit'] does not turn at the same speed as the turbine, representing a constant source of frustration for dentists. Mr. Powell is the President of the Board of Governors at Valdosta State University, Valdosta, Georgia, and is currently a member and manager for Hook-R-Slice Investment Group. Mr. Powell was also the co-owner and Vice-President of an orthopedic distribution network. This network was directly responsible for managing an organization that consistently ranked in the top three in nationwide sales.
